Find the Balance.

Advertising is a delicate balance between science and art. Use both sides of your brain to develop a smart strategy and pair it with creative copy.

Leverage the Data.

Reporting is actually more important than the advertising itself. Accurate and clear data presentation is essential to know what’s working and what’s not.

Use the Machines.

Artificial intelligence, machine learning, macros, excel formulas, Zapier… If a machine can do it, let it do it. Spend more time on higher level activities.

Change the Plan.

There is no set it and forget it. Trust your strategy, but monitor the results and adapt as necessary.

Our Mission

The Lockside Philosophy

Lockside Digital partners with law firms of any size, in any practice area. We help solo attorneys and multi-state firms invest in marketing and advertising strategies that perform month after month.

With years of experience in the law firm marketing industry, we know what it means to be a partner.

Meet the Owner, Nate Bruns

Professionally

With over 12 years experience in digital marketing, Nate Bruns launched Lockside Digital in 2021.

He started in sales for a small company in Bellingham, then moved to SEO for a car dealership agency, and eventually became Director of Advertising at a law firm marketing agency in Seattle.

Nate’s been trained at Google, presented at legal marketing conferences with other industry leaders, and has managed millions of dollars of ad spend.

With an intense appreciation for efficiency, he pushes to leverage machine learning and process automation to the fullest.

Personally

Nate Bruns is the owner and founder of Lockside Digital. He lives in Seattle, WA, just north of the Ballard Locks.

Along with long walks on the beach, he has been known to enjoy the occasional sarcastic comment, is a self proclaimed tech nerd, and is a stereotypical PNW craft beer enthusiast.

He’s a big fan of the Seahawks, Sounders, Sonics, and now the Kraken. During his spare time, you would most likely find him binging the latest Netflix special, walking his dogs, or logging hours in Destiny as a Titan main.
